The Wave Sky 2's three-part midsole includes a plastic wave plate sandwiched between two layers of foam. The top layer is firmer and the bottom layer is softer which gives you impact protection without feeling like you are running in sand. To enhance durability and increase traction, this shoe uses a carbon rubber outsole in the heel and forefoot. Further complementing the plush package, an adaptive AeroHug midfoot fit system locks your foot into place while maintaining comfort and breathability.
